Betty Jo Dunn Dickson Anderson, SC Betty Jo Dunn Dickson, age 86, of 5543 Dobbins Bridge Road, Anderson, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC on April 2, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Talford P. Dunn and the late Jennie Faye Richey Dunn. She was a graduate of Reed Creek High School. Along with her husband, she co-founded Dickson Appliance Service in 1975. She was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church where she served as a former WMU Director, Sunday School Teacher and church secretary. She was a devoted Christian, a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Tommy Dickson and his wife Millie, Sheila Reed and her husband Jimmy, Steve Dickson, David Dickson, Ricky Dickson and his wife Terri, Mark Dickson and his wife Tammy, and Tim Dickson and his wife Missy; brothers, Roderick Dunn and Jason Dunn; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and her little dog, "Scruffy". In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Arthur Dickson; a brother, Gary Dunn; and sisters, Lou Esther Rainey and Fredda Dean Rider. The Funeral Service will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend John Davis and Reverend Billy Ray Whitfield. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, May 30, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Dickson will be placed in the church at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
