Betty Joyce Henderson, age 72, of Townville, SC, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born October 1, 1952, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Bill Toney and Jo Geneva Frankum Hardy. She was married to A.J. Henderson until his death in 2024. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Joe Billy Toney.

Joyce was passionate about antiques and was a long-time antique dealer. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her children, Anthony Henderson (Amanda) of Anderson and Angie Harris (David) of Liberty; nephew, Richard Toney of Pickens; brother, Michael Toney of Anderson; grandchildren, Jacob Henderson (Ciara), Aaron Harris (Ashley), Katie Ligeikis (Joseph), and Isaac Harris (Payton); six great grandchildren with two on the way.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Looney officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
