Betty Rickman Hosea, age 84, of Anderson, SC passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Rainey Hospice House. Born September 4, 1933, in Toccoa, GA, she was the daughter of the late Edward Rickman and the late Addie Moore Rickman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Alfred Hosea; son, David R. Hosea; sisters, Esther, Mary, Alice and Willie; brothers, Charles, Fred and Boyd. She retired from sales, having worked for 15 years with Belk and 15 years with JC Penney. She was a member of Pope Drive Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Ferraro of Irmo, SC and Vikki Mullinax (Vic) of Anderson, SC; brother, Dan Rickman (Faye) of Toccoa, GA; grandchildren, Jamie Bacani (Dave), Ben Tripp, Harrison Mullinax and Lesley Mullinax; three great-grandchildren; her lapdog, Ollie and her best friend, June Osborne. The graveside service will be at Noon, Friday, June 22, 2018 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Bill Rigsby officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of her daughter, Vikki Mullinax, 117 Country Garden Lane, Anderson, SC 29626.
