Leon Kelley, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2008 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Pelzer, SC on May 17, 1935, Mrs. Kelley was a daughter of the late John Lester Ross Sr., and Fannie Mae Jordan Ross. She retired from Kroger Bakery in Anderson, SC, was a member of T. O. P. S., and Orrville Pentecostal Holiness Church.Survivors include her sons, David W. Kelley and A. Paul Kelley and his wife, Christine, all of Anderson; daughter, Vickie Brucke and her husband, Maurice of Starr; daughter-in-law, Laura Kelley; sister, Norma 'Boots' Graham of Calhoun Falls; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by sons, James C. 'Scooter' Kelley and Carroll E. Kelley; brothers, John L. Ross Jr., and Dewey Ross and sister, Annie Grace Ross.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Walter Monroe, Reverend Ralph Ashley and Mr. Maurice Brucke. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 3 pm.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are optional.
