MC CLELLAN November 28, 1930 - July 14, 2009ANDERSON, SCBetty Hall McClellan, age 78 of 609 Choctaw Street, died after a long illness on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at the National Health Care in Anderson.Born in Anderson County on November 28, 1930, Mrs. McClellan was the wife of the late John 'J. D.' McClellan and a daughter of the late Roy Hall and Lillian Conwell Hall. She was a 1947 graduate of Iva High School and retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas. She was a member of Orrville Baptist Church where she was also a former Sunday School teacher. She was a volunteer for National Health Care in Anderson. Survivors include her son, Michael McClellan of Anderson; daughter, Vickie Bowers and her husband, Wayne of Hartwell, GA; brothers, Jack Hall and his wife, Sarah of Anderson and Billy Hall and his wife, Becky of Abbeville and sister-in-law, Jean Hall of Aiken.In addition to her husband and parents, she as preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas and Jimmy Hall.The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Wendell Bannister and Reverend Philip McAlister.
