Betty Lou Brisson Mock, age 92, of Anderson, SC, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022, at Trinity on Laurens, Aiken, SC. Born August 4, 1930 in Dublin, NC, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Brisson and Lou King Brisson. She was the wife of Henry Eugene Mock, III for 50 years until his death in 2017. She was also preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister. Betty was an avid gardener with a green thumb and ability to make any garden beautiful. She was a great cook and enjoyed reading. She had an affectious personality and never met a stranger; but if she did, they were friends before parting. Betty was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Henry Eugene Mock, IV (Deborah) and Daniel Dixon Mock (Sharon); daughter, Nanci Mock Padgett (Fred); special friend, Dorothy Riffe; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, November 4, 2022, from 1:00-1:30 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Dwight Greene officiating. A private family burial will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Regency SouthernCare Hospice, 880 S.
