WESTONJANUARY 11, 1922 - May 4, 2009PENDLETON, SC ' Mrs. Betty Jane Weston, wife of the late Carl Weston, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2009, at her home, 116 Century Court.Born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on January 11, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Charles First and Caroline Krieg First. She was a graduate of Harrisburg High School and the Business College of Harrisburg. She served three years in the Woman's Army Corps stationed in Aberdeen, Maryland. Mrs. Weston was a member of the Eastern Star and Sandy Springs United Methodist Church.Her daughter, Judith Lynn Weston and a sister, Sarah Waltermyer, survive her.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Weston was predeceased by brothers: Charles, Robert, Russell, Albert, and Earl First; and sisters: Isabell Smith and Mary First.The Funeral Service will be held at 3pm on Thursday, May 7, 2009, in the Mausoleum Chapel of Forest Lawn Memorial Park, conducted by the Reverend Steve Compton.
