Born in Anderson, SC on August 5, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. Brock Jr., and Leola Jones Brock. She was a graduate of Girls' High School and was employed with the Department of Social Services for 18 years as a homemaker for the elderly. She was a member of Covenant Baptist Church.Survivors include her husband, Gerald 'Jerry' Dean Williams; a son, Josh Williams of Anderson; sisters, Melba Gray and her husband, Reverend Jerry Gray of Iva and Kitty Green of Anderson. Many special nieces and nephews and 2 great nieces also survive.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Brock, a nephew, Travis Clark and a special friend, Peggy VaughnA Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Covenant Baptist Church officiated by the Reverends Steve Silvey and Jerry Gray. The family will receive friends at Covenant Baptist Church on Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 pm.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Covenant Baptist Church, 4521 Liberty Highway, Anderson, SC 29621.
