Betty Jean Bostic Yeargin, age 74, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC on October 31, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Bostic and the late Ruby Speed. She worked as a winder in the textile industry. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie LeCroy (Scott) of Gainesville, GA and Tena Morris (Don) of Anderson,; sons, Thomas E. Roberts of Anderson, SC, Barry Roberts of Landis, NC, Jeff Roberts of Anderson, SC; brothers, Jerry Bostic (Jane) of Anderson, SC, Raymond Bostic (Frances) of Iva, SC, and Carlton Bostic (Sandra) of Iva, SC; sisters, Pat Hanks (Randolph) of Iva, SC, and Jo Anne Smith of Iva, SC; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Bostic; sister-in-law, Jo Bostic; and brother-in-law: Charles Smith. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday, May 22, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, May 21, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted.
