IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Martin
September 2, 1929 – January 5, 2024
Beulah Drake Martin, 94, of Anderson, SC, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024, at Rainey Hospice House.
Born September 2, 1929, in Walhalla, SC, she was a daughter of the late James Ralph Drake and Susie Burney Drake. She was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Drake, Ed Drake, and David Drake.
Bea was the primary caregiver of her husband, Melvin E. Martin, as he suffered from Alzheimer's diagnosed at an early age. He passed away in 1990.
Bea loved her family and friends. She was a woman of many talents including sewing, cross stitch, woodwork, cooking, and baking. But most of all she was a servant and caregiver. She was the happiest when she was doing and caring for others. She will forever be in our hearts and memories.
Her family was precious to her.

Other survivors include Brian (Kelly) Trapnell, Anderson Trapnell, Connor Trapnell; brother, Burney Drake; sister, Sue Maloney; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at The McDougald Funeral Home, Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Graveside service will be held at Union Grove Methodist Church, 3332 Hwy 29N, Belton, SC at 11:00 am, Friday, January 12, 2024. Rev. Roy Mitchell will officiate.
