Vernon Church Road, Iva, died Saturday, August 2, 2008 at her residence.Born in Anderson County, Mrs. Lawrence was a daughter of the late Robert Curtis Hall and Margaret Mae Ragsdale Hall. She was a member of Good Hope Presbyterian Church where she was a member of Circle 1 and the Ladies Bible Class. She was retired from Jackson Mills.Survivors include her husband of 64 years; a son, James Lawrence and his wife, Ann of Iva, SC; a daughter, B.J. Cheek and her husband, Joe of Iva; brother, Haskell Hall of Radcliffe, KY and sister, Rachel H. Bivins of Dixon, MO; two grandchildren, Lisa Lollis and husband, Tim of Anderson and Lynn Dickerson and husband, Charlie of Starr, SC; two great-grandchildren, Caleb Lollis and Allie Dickerson.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, William O. Hall, George R. Hall and Sam G. Hall.A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 4, 2008 at Iva City Cemetery at 11:30 am officiated by the Reverend Annette Graham and Reverend Richard Roberts.
