Billie Sue Stanford Dove, age 85, of Spartanburg, SC, widow of Harold Lee Dove, passed away on March 29, 2018. Born February 25, 1933, in Rome, GA, the daughter of Vera Bowers and Robert Eugene Stanford. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, mother, step-father, Charles Wilmer; sister, Dianne Wilmer and brother, Charles B. Wilmer. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Anderson, SC, where she was active in Pairs and Spares Sunday School class and WELCA morning circle. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy E. Dove; son, Kenneth P. Dove and wife, Shirley; grandson, Michael Dove, all of Spartanburg, SC; granddaughter, Kelsey Dove Bowman and husband Will and great-grandson, Jackson Bowman all of Charlotte, NC. A service will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 209 E. Broad Street, Anderson, SC on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 11:00 am. Burial will be at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery, 140 Inway Drive, Anderson, SC at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 -11:00 am Monday.
