PAYNEAUGUST 8, 1916 - March 22, 2009ANDERSON, SC ' Mrs. Billie Norris Payne, age 92, of 501 Walden Parkway, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2009, at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.Born in Boling Broke, GA on August 8, 1916, she was a daughter of the late James H. Norris and Nella Williamson Norris. She was a Cosmetologist and was a realtor with the family firm, Jack Payne Properties. She was a member of Boulevard Baptist Church and the Adult Six Sunday School class.Survivors include her children: son, James Jackson Payne of Conway; daughters: Betty Edmonds and husband Jimmy, Dianne Jones and husband Jerry, all of Anderson, Janice Welborn, of Conway, Emily Moehlenbrock and her husband Fred of Greenville, and Jackie Weaver and her husband Tim of Belton; a special brother and sister in law, Colonel James Norris and his wife Dottie of Columbia; four half brothers and one half sister; thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jack L. Payne; a daughter Nella Spake; son in laws, Reverend Gary Spake and Melvin Welborn; two grandchildren Jimmy Edmonds Jr. and Angela Edmonds; one great grand child Erica Davis.The Funeral Service will be held at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, March 22, 2009 in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Dr. Johnny F. McKinney and the Reverend Elwood Orr.
