Mr. Adams was a graduate of Pendleton High School and Clemson College. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from LaFrance Industries and was a member of Zion United Methodist Church where he faithfully served as a Sunday school teacher for 58 years and served in other numerous positions. Surviving is his wife of 56 years, Elzora Adams; son, Dennis Adams and his wife, Deborah; daughter, Jennifer Coats and her husband, Wayne; brothers, Johnny Adams and his wife, Linda, Jimmy Adams and his wife, Patricia; sisters, Guynelle Snipes and Imogene McGaha and her husband, Doyle; grandchildren, Aprile Adams and George Tenney, Jenilyn and Matthew Mulkey, Alan and Merebeth Adams and Adam and Kaileigh Coats; a great-granddaughter, Grayson Mulkey.
