Born on January 13, 1934, in Fair Play, SC, and reared in Anderson, SC, he was a son of the late Horace Donald and Lena Broom Donald. He was a graduate of Anderson Boys' High School and attended Clemson University. Mr. Donald retired from the Singer Corporation and was a member of West Anderson Church of God.Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann Hawkins Donald; son, Rusty Donald and wife, Debbie; daughter, Ronda Wall and husband, Ronnie; brother, Horace Donald, Jr.; sisters: Catherine Erwin and husband, Hubert, Windle Goldsmith, Joyce Paris and husband, Cecil; grandchildren: Kevin Donald, Chris Donald, Hali Donald, Chase Wall, Craig Donald, and Sheena Lee; and six great grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sons: Billy Richard Donald & Billy Stephen Donald; one grandson, Matthew Kirby; and one sister, Mary Mildred Donald.The Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, June 27, 2010, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral home conducted by the Reverend John M. Daniel and the Reverend Mark Daniel.
