VAUGHN FEBRUARY 6, 1930 - DECEMBER 29, 2012 Billy Charles Vaughn, age 82, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Hendersonville, NC, he was the son of the late Charlie Legon Vaughn and the late Pansey Hughey Vaughn. Mr. Vaughn served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was an accountant with Teledyne Inc., Huntsville, AL. Mr. Vaughn was of the Baptist Faith. He is survived by his brother, Donald E. Vaughn of Anderson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Vaughn was preceded in death by his four sisters: Helen Scott, Faye Skelton, Carolyn Poore and Marie Skelton. A Service honoring Mr. Vaughn life will be held at the Mausoleum Chapel at Forest Lawn Park on Monday, December 31, 2012, at 2:00 pm, with Dr. Jack Couch officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
