BILLY VAUGHN May 6, 1972 - April 12, 2012 IVA, SC William "Billy" Franklin Vaughn, age 39, of 2685 Elberton Highway, was called home to be with his Lord, on April 12, 2012. Born in Anderson, he was the son Brinda Humphries Vaughn of Belton and Frank Dwight Vaughn and his wife Iva , of Iva. Billy was a 1990 graduate of Crescent High School. He was a heavy equipment operator for many years and presently employed with REWA in Greenville. He had also been employed by Anderson County. Billy was an avid fisherman and hunter. Mr. Vaughn was a member of Wellington Pentecostal Holliness Church where he was very active, he played the drums and guitar, he served on the praise and worship team as well as the drama team. He was a very devoted and loving father and husband. In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by his spouse, Cathy Demery Vaughn of the home; sons, Zach Vaughn and Bo McKeller; daughters, Danielle Vaughn, and Molina Seagraves; step-sister, Yvonne Suttles and her husband Gene of Crosshill, SC; grandmother, Nellie Vaughn of Iva; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Stephanie Lynn Vaughn; his grandfathers, Claude Vaughn and Pete Humphries. His Home Going service will be held in The Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 3:00pm with the Reverends Ron Lawson and James Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at the Iva City Cemetery. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be his many coworkers at the REWA. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
