BLANCHE BLUME July 13, 1923 - March 21, 2006ANDERSON, SCMrs. Blanche Ann Gambrell Blume, age 82, wife of the late Aubray Otis Blume, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at the home of her daughter, Sandra Yates, 1085 Cartee Road, Anderson, SC.Born in Anderson, SC on July 13, 1923, Mrs. Blume was a daughter of the late Frank Hammond Gambrell and Della Williamson Gambrell. She was a graduate of Pendleton High School and a homemaker. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church and 'The Prospectors'.She is survived by daughters, Wanda Barnes and her husband Mickey, Fredda Morse and her husband, Michael and Sandra Yates and her husband, Al, all of Anderson, SC; sisters, Myrtle Wells and Eunice Adams, both of Anderson, SC; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Alma Swaney, Hazel Azar and brothers, Max Gambrell and Ralph Gambrell.The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2006 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Tony Smith and Rev. Sam Autry.
