Leroy "Bo" Evans, 90, of Anderson, SC passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at his home. Born August 6, 1927 in Anderson, SC, Bo was a son of the late Raymond Frank Evans and the late Nancy Jane Turner Evans. He was a graduate of Forrest College School of Business and was a World War II veteran in the United States Army. He was an active and faithful member of North Anderson Baptist Church, a beloved Sunday school teacher and bible scholar. He retired with 27 years of service from Life of Virginia Insurance Company and worked for Ralph Hayes Toyota for 11 years. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Mary Ruth Whitfield Evans; son, Tony Evans (Dottie) of Signal Mountain, TN; daughter, Nancy Evans Burroughs (Joe) of Conway, SC; son-in-law, Michael Kramer of Lynchburg, VA; sister, Kathleen Parham of Anderson, SC; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Gloria Kramer; one grandson, Blake Evans and two brothers and five sisters. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, November 10, 2017, at North Anderson Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Rigsby officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
