BOBBIE CHAPMAN September 16, 1935 - October 19, 2008ANDERSON, SCMrs. Bobbie Jo Minyard Chapman, age 73, of 1212 Bolt Drive, wife of the late William M. Chapman, Sr., passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at the AnMed Health Medical Center.Born in Anderson, SC on September 16, 1935, Mrs. Chapman was the daughter of the late DeWitt Minyard and Eunice Ivester Minyard. Mrs. Chapman was a seamstress, floral designer and a homemaker. She was also a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church.Survivors include her son, William M. Chapman, Jr., and his wife, Tina; daughter, Sherry C. Skelton, brother, Thomas Minyard and his wife, Betty, all of Anderson; eleven grandchildren, Jamie Drummond, Chad Skelton, Ruby Dawkins, Elaine McKelvey, Crystal Skelton, Michael Skelton, Kimilee 'Boo' Ferguson, Garrett Chapman, Caitlin Chapman, Chase Chapman and Emma Grace Chapman and eleven great-grandchildren.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, DeWitt Minyard, Jr.The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 4:30 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by the Reverend Dr. Dean Weaver. A private interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.The family will be at the home of her daughter, Sherry Skelton, 515 Phil Watson Road, Anderson.Memorials may be made to NewSpring Community Church, Children's Building Fund, 4533 N.
