OBITUARYBOBBIE JO COLLINSJUNE 10, 1933 - May 12, 2009ANDERSON, SC ' Mrs. Bobbie Jo Rice Collins, age 75, formerly of 102 Viking Court and wife of the late Virgil V. Collins, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at Hart County Hospital.Born in Anderson, SC, on June 10, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Easton Rice and Maggie Lockaby Rice. Mrs. Collins was a retired beautician having owned 3 J's Beauty Salon, located on Main Street in Anderson.Survivors include her daughters: Tammy Buchanan and husband, William, of Roanoke, VA; Diane Absher and husband, Charlie, of Richmond, VA; her son, Jerry Johnson and wife, Frankie, of Honea Path, SC; life time beloved friends: James & Dee Morton and Bo Sanders; seven grandchildren: Tanya Hayes, Ryan Johnson, Travis Scaggs, Corey Scaggs, Kelly Dooley, Rhonda Richardson, and Brian Gambrell; seven great grandchildren; and two sisters: Helen Scroggs of Abbeville and Hazel Holman of Fair Play.In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by three siblings: Annette Johnson, Bill Rice, and Ralph Rice.The Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Friday, May 15, 2009, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Sam Dulaney.
