BOBBIE GASSAWAY December 15, 1929 - November 30, 2006ANDERSON, SCMrs. Bobbie Saylors Gassaway, age 76 of 308 Claudine Drive, Anderson, SC, died Thursday, November 30, 2006, at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Clyde Gordon Gassaway, Jr., and brother, William Herbert Saylors, Jr.Born in Anderson, SC on December 15, 1929, Mrs. Gassaway was the daughter of the late William Herbert Saylors, Sr., and Selma Fisher Saylors. A longtime member of Orrville Baptist Church, she was a former Sunday school teacher in the Primary Girls Class for many years and was a devoted member of the Clara Martin Prayer Group and the Esther Sunday School class.Surviving are her son, Tim Gassaway and his wife, Jo Faith of Anderson, daughters, Jan G. Winstead and her husband, Smitty of Anderson, and Robin G. Ladd and her husband, Dean of Liberty; brothers, Martin Saylors, Wilton Saylors and Steve Saylors of Abbeville, SC. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Brooke G. Hunnicutt, Ethan Ladd, Savannah Ladd and two great-grandchildren, Timothy Moyer and Brookelyn Addison.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 11:00 am at Orrville Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Wendell Bannister and the Reverend U. C. Neill.
