Bobbie Jordan Smith, age 82, of Belton, SC, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at AnMed Health Medical Center. She was born March 8, 1939, in Franklin County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Leon Jordan and Latrell (Lottie) Ayers Jordan. Bobbie was a graduate of Belton High School and Forrest College. She retired after twenty-nine years of banking. She was a member of Eastview Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher, served on the welcome committee and coordinator of the bereavement committee. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harold Carl Smith; son, Ronald L. Smith and wife, Ann Boggs Smith; sister, Shirley J. Young (Donald) and two special nieces, Teresa Cothran and Ginger Hiott. She was a loving grandmother to four grandchildren, Brook Fields, Justin Smith, Kristi Smith, and Ryne Cooley (Laura); seven great grandchildren, Coby Mitchell, Braylee Mitchell, Blayne Mitchell, Bryce Teague, Wilder Harris, Parker Cooley, and Savanna Milford; and one great-great grandchild, Karsyn Mitchell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard Carl Smith. The family will receive friends Monday, January 3, 2022, from noon to 1:45 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm in the Chapel with Rev. Randy Blank officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories.
