Bobbie Jean Bannister Swink, age 86, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Iva, SC, she was the daughter of the late Reece Calhoun Bannister and the late Pearl Erwin Bannister. Bobbie graduated from high school as Class Valedictorian and continued on to work at First National Bank as a Vault Custodian retiring after 38 years of service. She was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church, but attended Concord Baptist Church. Bobbie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Bobbie is survived by her two sons, David E. Swink (Mary) of Chapin, SC and Rickey D. Swink (Karen) of Aiken, SC; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a dear friend, Bobby Carroll. In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy B. Swink; and four siblings, Erwin, Ray, Helen and Pauline. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Reverend Dr. Don Cox officiating.
