Bobby Dean Carroll, age 91, of Anderson, SC, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022, at NHC Healthcare Anderson. Born September 10, 1931, in Anderson, he was the son of the late Ernest Carroll and Ruby Donald Carroll. He was married to Janna Crowe Carroll until her death in 2008. Bobby was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was an engineer in the carpeting industry for many years. He loved gardening and going to church. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church. He is survived by his two grandchildren, Shawn Hardy and Shannon Wentzky; and four great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Mikaela, Brianna, and Blaine. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Wayne Carroll; daughter, Debra Ann Hardy; one brother and three sisters. The funeral service with military honors will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 11:00 am Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Dr. Don Cox officiating.
