Bobby Fred Dunlap, age 91, of Belton, SC, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Brookdale Anderson. Born January 27, 1931, in Anderson, he was the son of the late Joseph Fred Dunlap and Lorene Mayfield Dunlap. He was married for 65 years to Peggy Smalley Dunlap until her death this past March. Bobby was a 1947 graduate of Boys High and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He spent many years as an electrician before following his passion for cars. He was the owner and operator of Dunlap's Used Cars and Dunlap's Mini Speedway. He was a devoted member of Whitefield Baptist Church and formerly volunteered with the Whitefield Fire Department. He is survived by his son, Ray Dunlap and his wife Gay along with other extended family. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Dunlap Rice. A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 22, 2022, at 3:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Bob Clardy officiating.
