BOBBY GIBBSSeptember 13, 1943 - October 24, 2008ANDERSON, SCMr. Bobby Ray Gibbs, Sr., age 65, husband of Barbara Ann Holbrooks Gibbs of 405 Masters Drive, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2008 at his residence.Born in Anderson, SC on September 13, 1943, Mr. Gibbs was a son of the late William 'Bill' Gibbs and Helen Patterson Gibbs. He was a Brick Mason and a member of the Open Door Baptist Church in Walhalla, SC.Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ann Holbrooks Gibbs of the home; son, Bobby Ray Gibbs, Jr., of Seneca; daughter, Tammy Miller of Westminster; brother, Kenneth Gibbs and sister, Debbie Moore, both of Anderson. Four grandchildren also survive.A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park conducted by the Reverend Jimmy Boggs.The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.The family will be at the home of his son, 541 Hope Avenue, Seneca, SC.Those desiring to make memorial contributions may be made to the family.The McDougald Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
