Bobby Carlton Lewis, age 62, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Royston, GA, on July 31, 1952, he was the son of Effie Merle Lewis and the late Carlton Lewis. He worked as an electrician and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons, Scotty Lewis and his wife Angela, Adam Lewis and his wife Teta, and Talmadge Lewis and his wife Stacy; two brothers, Kenneth Lewis and Brian Lewis and his wife Lori; a sister, Stephanie Wells and her husband Joseph; and ten grandchildren, Cheyenne, Dakota, Hannah, Noah, Edison, Emma, Harper, Bailey, Taylor, Ty, Gia, Kinliegh and Natalie Lewis. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church with Dr. Tony Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Pall bearers serving will be William Lewis, Brandon Lewis, Brent Lewis, Joey Wells, Kendrick Cowans, and Bruce Chandler.
