Bonnie Lou Chambers, age 84, of Anderson, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Rainey Hospice House. Born June 7, 1933 in Iva, SC, she was a daughter of the late James Otis McBride and Fannie Mae Lawton McBride. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ray Hampton McBride and sisters, Nancy Gail McBride and Sudie Louise Ertzberger. Bonnie graduated from Iva High School and was a member of First Baptist of Iva. She was a retired lab technician from Clark-Schwebel, Inc. She is survived by her sisters, Mae Bell Latham and Pearline Bobo; brother, James Ralph McBride; and great-nephew, Jake Ertzberger. A graveside service will be held at 11 am Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Iva City Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Gray and Dr. Paul Pinson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
