ANDERSON, SC ' Mrs. Betty 'Bonnie' Blackwell Sorrow, age 54, of 125 Elgin Drive, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2009, at her home.Born in Anderson on May 28, 1955, she was a graduate of McDuffie High School and was a homemaker. Mrs. Sorrow was a member of Rocky River Worship Center.She is survived by her husband, Lamar Sorrow of the home; her mother, Betty Brown Davis of Starr; her father, Dewitt Blackwell of Iva; children: Tracie Whitten and husband, Eric of Townville, Beth Childs Dodgens and husband, Nicky of Starr, Tasha Lancaster of Ware Shoals, and Trai Sorrow of Abbeville; sisters: Dale Willis and Shirlon Crocker, both of Anderson; brothers: Tony Blackwell of Starr, and Marty Blackwell of Iva. Eleven grandchildren also survive.Her grandparents, Allan & Ruby Brown and her sister, Cathy Gilliam predeceased her.The Funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, July 28, 2009, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Sam Autry and the Reverend Don Abbott.
