Boyce Wilson, age 79, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016, at the Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC, on November 28, 1936, he was the son of the late H. Aaron Wilson and the late Helen Pruitt Wilson. He was a 1955 graduate of Boy's High School and worked as a construction supervisor. Boyce was a member of Neals Creek Baptist Church for most of his life, where he had served as Deacon and Sunday School teacher. He is survived by his loving wife, Lucille Erskine Wilson; a son, Michael Larry Wilson; a daughter, Janet Wilson Madden and her husband Randy; two brothers, Larry B. Wilson and his wife Helen, James A. Wilson and his wife, Imogene; three sisters, Ann Bryant, Nancy Bryant and her husband Truman, and Joyce Smart; four grandchildren, Joshua L. Madden and his wife Julie, Nathan W. Madden, Joseph A. Wilson and his wife Kirstie, and Kara R. Wilson; and a great-grandchild, Jacob L. Madden. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, William B. "Brad" Wilson. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2016, at 3:30 p.m. at Neals Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Frank Morrison and Reverend Jason Dorriety officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be at the residence and will receive friends at the church, prior to the service on Sunday, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621, or to Neals Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 3204 Amity Road Ext.
