Bradford Leon Martin, 86, of Anderson, SC, passed away, Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Rainey Hospice House. Born February 1, 1934 in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Joe E. Martin and Othella Duncan Martin. Bradford was a 1952 graduate of Boys High and was a veteran of the United States Army having been stationed in Alaska during the Korean Conflict. He was formerly a member of First Baptist Church Anderson where he served as a deacon, a Sunday School teacher and where he played softball. He was currently a member of Concord Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed working in his yard, the Clemson Tigers and T.L. Hanna football. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Betty Harrell Martin of the home; son, Blair E. Martin of Anderson, SC; and grandson, Logan A. Martin of Columbia, SC. Family and friends may pay their respects and sign the Guest Register on Monday, December 14, 2020, between the hours of 10:00 am and 5:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at 1:00 pm at New Silver Brook Cemetery with Dr. Don Cox and Rev. Bill Parnell officiating.
