He was employed by the Nutty Sweet Shop in Anderson and served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church.Surviving are his parents, Jerry and Ann Alewine of Anderson, SC; sons, Nicholas Alewine and Eric Alewine of Anderson, SC; sister, Kristi Alewine Jones of Anderson, SC and one grandchild.Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 4, 2005 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home by Dr. James R. Thomason. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 3, 2005 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
