Brantley Coe Anderson, SC Edward Brantley Coe, age 38, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, he was the son of Edward Thomas Coe, of Anderson and Patricia Humphries Ayers, of Anderson. Brantley had a hunger and a desire for hard work, this led to his successful business, Coe's Roofing, which he owned and operated. He enjoyed helping others and giving back to his community. He never met a stranger and had a golden heart. To his friends he was a buddy, a confidant, simply known as "CoeMaster". To his family he was a brother, a son, an uncle, protector and simply known as our "Superhero". Brantley was a professional bodybuilder and won Mr. South Carolina in 2008. He was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Anita Hayes and Debra Weatherly, both of Anderson, SC. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hazel Conrad and Lewis Desco Humphries; and his paternal grandparents, Lillian Grey Coe and Henry Coe. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Oakdale Baptist Church with Reverend David Blizzard officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
