Brenda Edwards Allison Anderson, SC Brenda Gail Edwards Allison, age 69, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015. Born in Waynesville, NC, on April 26, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Harry Ralph Edwards and the late June Henry Edwards. She was a 1964 graduate of Waynesville Township High School. Brenda retired from the state of South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control after more than 25 years of service as a Clinical Clerical Supervisor. She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church. She is survived by her children, Rick "Ponytail" Allison, of Anderson, SC and Anita Allison Donley and her husband Ron, of Anderson, SC; a brother, Ralph Edwards and his wife Jean, of Greensboro, NC; a sister, Darlene Warren, of Asheville, NC; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Edwards. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Reverend Kurt Stutler and Reverend Bobby Lee officiating. Entombment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Honorary Escort will be The Confederate Motorcycle Club.
