Brenda Jane Webb Carroll, age 76, of Anderson, SC, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 13, 2023, at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born August 24, 1946, in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Lucius H. Webb and Etrulia Davis Webb. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Emily Webb Norris; and sister-in-law, Connie Jean Carroll Ash. Brenda Jane was an incredibly hard worker, having worked on the family farm for 50 years. She was formerly employed for 30 years with Singer/Ryobi and was a bus driver for Anderson School District 5 for 24 years. She loved antique cars and camping trips in the family camper. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. She is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Anthony "Tim" Carroll; nieces, Jan Harris Owens and Sharon Norris Walker (Benny); great nephews, Matthew Harris (Jenny) and Luke Walker (Mary); great nieces, Jennifer Harris Riggs (Kris), and Stephanie Walker Getsinger (Jonah); and 7 great-great nieces and nephews, Emily Harris, Karson Riggs, Krystal Riggs, Mallorie Walker, Michaela Walker, Melody Fredrickson and Marlie Walker. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 15, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home with Rev. Benjamin "Luke" Walker and Rev. Benny Walker officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice. The family will be at the home of Sharon and Benny Walker, 1407 Asbury Park Rd., Anderson, SC 29625.
