Brenda Joyce Frith Cooper, 71 of Anderson, SC went to worship at the feet of her Savior on Sunday, June 11, 2017. Born December 4, 1945 in Greenville, SC, Brenda was a daughter to the late, John Henry and Rosa Louise McKinney Frith. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Scott Shannon "Rocky" Frith. Brenda was the devoted wife and loving mother who dearly loved her family. She was a member of Varennes Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Rodney Cooper; children, Pamela Sue Smith (Kevin) of Fair Play, SC and Glenn Cooper (Joy) of Townville, SC; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; also survived by brother, David Frith (Theresa) of Anderson, SC and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gary and Peggy Cooper and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery, with the Rev. Josh Cooper officiating. The family will be at their residence and will receive friends from 6-7 pm on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at The McDougald Funeral Home.
