Brenda McCoy Drady, age 67, of Anderson, SC passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Rainey Hospice House. Born August 7, 1950 in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth L. McCoy, Sr. and the late Frances Ellison McCoy. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Richard McCoy. She had formerly worked for AT&T and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Brooks (William) of Anderson, SC; brothers, Kenneth L. McCoy, Jr. (Gayle) and Roger McCoy all of Anderson, SC; sisters, Vicki McCoy Fouts (Sam) of Acworth, GA and Sylvia McCoy Jones (Jack) of Anderson, SC; also survived by two grandchildren, Connor and Jackson Brooks. The family will receive friends from 12:30pm-2:30 pm Friday, June 15, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 3:00 pm. Burial will be in New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be at the residence of William and Ashley Brooks.
