Brenda Gable Wiles Morgan, age 82, of Iva, SC, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Abbeville Nursing Home.

Born October 15, 1941, in Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late, Keith Furman Gable and Martha Compton Gable Helms. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Olin Helms; brothers, Furman, Clark, "Happy", and Neil; half-sisters, Juanita Madden and Anita Holiday.

She was a graduate of Crescent High School where she was a majorette and won the 1959 State championship on the girls basketball team. Brenda later retired from Owens Corning as a data processor, was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church and also loved to go fishing.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Morris Wayne Morgan; sons, Jack Leroy Wiles Jr. and Keith William Wiles; grandchildren, Justin Keith Wiles, Seth Jackson Wiles and Finley Wiles Nadler; great grandchildren, Waylon Wiles, Jack Wiles and Lucy Nadler.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 24, 2023, from 6-8 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Iva City Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Gray officiating.
