Brenda C. Martin Brenda Martin passed away October 9, 2012 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Jack and Lois Crumpton of Walhalla. Brenda graduated from Walhalla High School and worked for K-Mart, Anderson School District 1 Department of Transportation and Food Service, and AnMed Health Department of Food Service. In addition to her parents, Brenda was predeceased by her husband Frederick Martin and her daughter Sandra Diane Nix. She is survived by her daughter, Marcia McTaggart (Steven) of Madison, AL, her son, Alan Nix (Kim) of Walhalla, a brother, Lonnie Crumpton of Townville, stepmother, Faye Crumpton of Anderson and sister-in-law, Wendy Longo of Pendleton. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, October 11 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The Graveside Service will be held at St Paul's Cemetery, Pendleton, on Friday, October 12 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Anderson County Humane Society, 407 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625.
