Brenda Ann McConnell, age 68, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in Anderson, SC, on December 15, 1947, she was the daughter of the late James McAllister and the late Alene Strickland McAllister. She was a homemaker and a loving wife. Mother, and grandmother. Brenda was a member of Beech Springs Church. She is survived by her children, Wayne McConnell and his wife Sharon, of Huntsville, AL, Jeff McConnell and his wife Melanie, of Belton, SC, and J.P. McConnell and his wife Kim, of Wellford, SC; two brothers, Arthur and Dickie McAllister, both of Anderson; a sister, Peggy Aiken, of Anderson, SC; sister-in-law, Patsy McAllister; ten grandchildren, D.J., Hailey, Dakotah, Payton, Justin, Garron, Anslee, Darren, Shyann, and Garrett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Gerald McConnell; and her brother, Jackie McAllister. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Beech Springs Church with Pastor Eric Boggs officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
