Brian Scott Owens, 35, of Anderson, SC passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020. Born May 26, 1984 in Anderson, SC, Brian is the son of Tammy Renee Davis and Timothy Scott Owens. He worked as a painter in residential and commercial construction and was of the Baptist faith. He loved fishing, football, basketball and was an avid Clemson Tiger fan. In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by his children, Caitlyn Jaide Owens and Jacob Luke Owens; girlfriend, Jessica Roberts; brother, Christian McVey; sisters, Angela Bergado and Jennifer Shedd; grandparents; James and Mary Hightower; aunt, Pamela Allen (Steve); great-aunt, Jane Harris; great-uncle, Douglas Best; and numerous cousins, loved ones and friends. Brian was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Gannon; maternal grandfather, Jerry C. Davis, and paternal grandparents, Rev. Wilton and Jewel Owens. Family and friends may pay their respects by signing the Guest Register on Thursday, April 30, 2020 between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at Six and Twenty Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date. The family will be at the home of his home his uncle, 248 Nixon St., Anderson, SC 29625.
