Buddy Black

Lee Clint "Buddy" Black, age 66, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at his residence.
Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late James Rufus Black, Sr. and the late Dorothy Looney Black. He retired from Michelin after 23 years of service. Buddy was an avid fisherman and hunter and was a member of LaFrance Church of God.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Dove Black; a son, Michael Black and his wife Tammy, of Pendleton, SC; two daughters, Tammy Elrod and her husband Larry, of Anderson, SC and Allison Black and her fianc Travis Harris, of Pendleton, SC; thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, J.R. Black, Jr.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at LaFrance Church of God with Reverend Roger Allison and Reverend James Shealy officiating. Entombment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
The family will be at the residence and will receive friends on Sunday, March 29, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m at The McDougald Funeral Home.
