Buddy Eugene Crawford, Jr., age 63, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at Rainey Hospice House. Born in Anderson, SC on September 26, 1953, he is the son of Janie Adams Crawford and the late Buddy Eugene Crawford, Sr. Buddy worked for Mosley Asphalt as a dump truck driver. He loved riding motorcycles and loved his dogs, especially Ruthie. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Sherry Harbert Crawford; a brother, Michael Crawford of Anderson, SC; a sister, Teresa Tiller (Dennis) of Anderson, SC; a nephew, Mark Tiller (Jackie) of Anderson, SC; nieces, Kayla White (Mark) and Julia Harbert; a great-nephew, Logan Tiller and great-niece Alexis Tiller; mother-in-law, Judy Alexander; and a special aunt, Faye Chapman. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Crawford. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at 3:00 p.m. with the Reverend Steve Silvey officiating. Entombment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will be at the home of the sister-in-law, Olivia Messer, 119 Landau Ln., Anderson, SC 29625, and will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Friday, November 18, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers are optional.
