'Sonny' Chastain, age 67, husband of Olga H.Webb Chastain of 807 Wilson Street, died Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.Born in Anderson, SC on December 14, 1938, Mr. Chastain was a son of the late Edwin Chastain, Sr., and Elizabeth Huckaby Chastain. He was retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas and attended Forest Hill Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife, Olga H. Webb Chastain of the home, a son, James Clifton Webb and his wife, Teresa of Anderson; brother, Earl Chastain and his wife, Patsy of Anderson; sister, Doris Pickron and her husband, R. E. of Anderson; sister-in-law, Kitty Chastain of Anderson, SC and one grandson, Jamie Webb.In addition to his parents, a brother, Edwin Chastain, Jr, preceded him in death.The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2006 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Paul Langston and Dr. Dean Weaver. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 2, 2006 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.The family will be at the residence.Flowers are accepted.
