Careline Frances Matthews, age 79, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Born in St. Albans, WV, she was the daughter of the late Malta M. McNealy and the late Lola M. Vickers McNealy. She retired as an Insurance Rater after many years of service. Careline is survived by her children, David R. Matthews, Jr. and his wife Peggy, of Townville, SC, and Jean McNabb and her husband Len, of Chattanooga, TN; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David R. Matthews, Sr.; two sisters, Pauline Ball and Geneva Stinnett; and two brothers, Charles McNealy and Jr. McNealy. The family will receive friends at The McDougald Funeral Home on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. No Services are scheduled at this time.
