Duncan, Sr., and Vera Cleveland Duncan. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of World War II. Mr. Duncan retired from Flowers Bakery Company and was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple.Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Gail McLane Duncan; son: Frank Duncan and wife, Julie of Bailey, NC; daughters: Angela Osborne and husband, Eddie of Anderson, Carla Polson and husband, Dereck of Greer, Dori Marcovechio and husband, Tony of Bluffton, and Gwen Elmore and husband, Charles of Virginia Beach; grandchildren: Heather, Josh, Cory, Jordan, Ben, Zachary, Jared, and Madeline; and sisters: Joyce Thomas and Effie Fernalin.The Funeral Service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2009, in the Chapel of The McDougald Funeral Home conducted by the Reverend Sam Duncan.
