Carl Paul Walk, age 87, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Oak Leaf Manor in Roswell, GA surrounded by his loving family.

Born March 3, 1937, in Newark, NJ, he was the biological son of the late John Walk and Helen Wasserman Walk. He was raised by his loving parents Harold and Anne Evans in Morristown, NJ. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Elizabeth "Elise" MacMillan Walk and his brother, Joseph Walk.

Carl was a veteran of the United States Army and was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University. He was an insurance claims adjuster with United Claims Service. For as far back as he could remember, he was the biggest fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team.

He is survived by his children, Veronica Shelton and her husband David Shelton (grandchildren Erica and Logan), Christina Desrosiers and her husband Marc Desrosiers (grandchildren Ashley, Nancy, Louis, William, Vivian, Marc), Matthew Walk and his wife Sarah Walk (grandchildren Preston and Scarlett), Andrew Walk, Margaret Richards and her husband Nate Richards (grandchildren Reannen, Angelina, Kyra, Natalie, Cynthia, and Evelyn Rodriguez, and Nathan, Jack, and Charlotte Richards).

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 15, 2024, beginning at 1:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm in the Chapel with David Shelton officiating. A committal will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 10:00 am at M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
