STROUP July 20, 1944 - October 26, 2006WILLIAMSTON, SCMr. Carliss Harrel Stroup, age 62, husband of Sharon Williams Stroup of 1115 Keone Circle, Williamston, SC, died Thursday, October 26, 2006 at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson.Born in McCroy, Arkansas on July 20, 1944, Mr. Stroup was a son of Earl H. Stroup of Seneca, SC and the late Genive Wilson Stroup. He was employed with Electric City Printing and was a member of the G.C.I.U. Printer's Union. He was a United States Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of High Praises Church of God and involved with the Children's Ministries.Survivors include his wife, Sharon Williams Stroup of the home; a son, Rob H. Stroup of Greenville, SC; a brother, Tom Stroup of Los Gatos, CA; sisters, Carol Milstead of Northport, AL, Jeanette Mendenhall of Bend, OR, Janice Hosmon of Herrin, IL and Rosie Ballard of Williamson, SC. Four nephews, six nieces, three grand-nephews and four grand-nieces also survive.Following a private family committal service, a Memorial Service will be held at High Praises Church of God on Monday, October 30, 2006 at 11:00 am officiated by the Reverends Chris Sustar and Scott Taylor. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.
