Carlton Shelton Aldrich, age 88, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at AnMed Medical Center.

Born December 10, 1936, in Georgia, he was a son of the late Lester Aldrich and Wilmer Dutton Aldrich. He was also preceded in death by a son, Douglas Aldrich; daughter, Carlene Stamey; siblings, Dee Aldrich, Ruth Williams, Pauline Cobb, and Ethel Crisp; and grandson, Andrew Aldrich.

Carlton was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Owens Corning Fiberglas with over 30 years of service to the company.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ginn Aldrich; son, Gregory Lee Aldrich (Chelsea); brother, Leon Aldrich; sisters, Maxine Stevens, Tommie Keller, Almer Southerland, and Shirley Evans ; 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Rodney Cobb officiating.
